Camp Kilowatt

Camp Kilowatt is a fun and unique camp experience for sixth grade students going into seventh grade across Indiana. In 2022, camp takes place June 8-11 at Camp Tecumseh in Brookston, Indiana. Kids get the chance to learn more about energy while making new friends and enjoying fun activities and games.

Youth Tour to the Capital

During the month of June, Indiana’s electric cooperatives sponsor a group of students going into their senior year of high school to go on a life-changing educational adventure to Washington, D.C.

Highlights of this seven-day trip include visits to historic monuments and museums, meetings on Capitol Hill with Indiana’s congressional delegation, the opportunity to make lifelong friends and much more.

The 2022 Youth Tour delegation will depart from Indianapolis Thursday, June 16, 2022, and return Thursday, June 23, 2022. All expenses are paid for students selected to participate. Learn more and apply at the link below. Applications are due March 1, 2022.

Art Calendar Graphic

Cooperative Calendar of Student Art Contest

Indiana Electric Cooperatives’ Calendar Art Contest is open to all K-12 students who want to create an illustration for the cooperative annual wall calendar. A first-place artist will be selected for each grade, and the winners will receive a $200 prize. In addition, the artwork for each grade division winner will illustrate the cover and all 12 months of the calendar.

Submissions are due March 18, 2022.

Education Scholarship

Kosciusko REMC is thrilled to offer the John H. Anglin Scholarship to financially assist members in their pursuit of higher education. Each year, 10 winning students receive a $1,000 scholarship for the upcoming year’s classes at the higher-learning institution of their choice.

Applications are due to KREMC by no later than May 1, 2022.

4-H Scholarship

Do you want to be involved in 4-H next year? We want to lend a helping hand. We are giving away 10, $350 scholarships to help kids who want to participate in any 4-H project.
