Are you currently experiencing an outage? Before calling KREMC, check to see if others in your area still have power. If they do, check your home’s panel box in case of a blown fuse or tripped circuit. If the outage is widespread or you cannot find the cause on your end, tell us!

How Are Electrical Outages Restored?
When electricity goes out, most of us expect power will be restored within a few hours. But when a major storm causes widespread damage, longer outages may result. Co-op line crews work long, hard hours to restore service safely to the greatest number of consumers in the shortest time possible.
