Warsaw, Ind. (December 11, 2025) – Kosciusko REMC (KREMC) recently continued its investment in the Kosciusko community with a $5,000 donation to Combined Community Services (CCS) for their Utility Assistance Program, along with food and supplies from KREMC’s Thanksgiving Food Drive. KREMC President & CEO presented the check and the food donations to CCS Director of Emergency Assistance, Tiffani McClanahan and CCS Dane’s Family Pantry and Building & Grounds Manager, John Mueller on November 25.
Since 2007, KREMC has been proudly contributing to the Utility Assistance Program, which extends crucial assistance to individuals and families in need during the harsh winter months. KREMC has been hosting the Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive since 2013 and donates items to both CCS and to Harvest Community Church.
“We want to assist in addressing the challenges and hardships our community is facing alongside CCS. Giving back to our community is a vital part of our mission here at KREMC, and we want to continue to invest in our members’ well-being,” said Landrigan.
CCS will allocate the donations towards assisting KREMC members struggling with their electric bills, providing relief to households facing financial constraints. This initiative ensures that families and individuals can keep their homes warm without the added burden of high energy costs. The Thanksgiving Food Drive donations helped assist families with food for Thanksgiving and the upcoming holidays.
