Introducing a new way to report your meter reading via our Customer Web Portal

Welcome to reporting your meter reading using the KREMC Web Portal. This new technology will place your meter reading right into your account within our billing system.

Here is what you will need to get started:

  1. Your Account Number
  2. Your Online Password
  3. Allowpop up windows for KREMC sites

If you have setup your web portal account and forget your password you can access the help page here or call one of our CSR's from 8am to 5pm Eastern time and they can reset your password for you.

If you have never setup your account to access the web portal it is very easy to do. Learn how to setup your online account here.

Reporting your Meter Reading

Now that you are logged into the Customer Portal you can now report your meter reading. Once you have completed reporting your meter reading, take a look around. If you have one of our new advanced meters you can now access your daily usage online, play your bill plus many more features.

1. Click on the Meter Readings Tab

2. This will bring your to our payment and meter reading processing page

Click on Meter Readings

3. Enter the following information:

  • First, date the meter reading was read
  • Second, meter reading
  • Third, click submit

Entering a meter reading of 8172 as an example would look like this.

NOTE:

If you see a message like this one (The reading you entered for Account 12345-001 is not within the range for the meter's normal usage pattern. Please verify that the reading is correct, and then click the Override checkbox for the Account before proceeding.) This means that the reading you entered does not match what your normal usage would be. Please verify that you have entered your meter reading correctly.

Once you have submitted your meter reading to us it will automatically go into our system. You will receive a conformation page with a print button. If you like you can print off this page for your records.
